Overview
Direct FX (Australia) Pty Ltd (DFXA) is an Australian registered and licensed company (ABN:
28114050672, AFSL: 509319) based in Sydney Australia, providing inter-bank FX broking services to its wholesale customer base of banking institutions and platforms. The company (DFXA) has been providing such services for over 18 years.
Our brokers have over 100 years of combined FX experience and they have perfected the art of efficiently matching up the wholesale FX flows of local as well as international banking entities.
From the early days of 100% Voice broking the team has now evolved to provide a hybrid mix of voice as well as E-platform liquidity.
Many of the Interbank relationships have spanned over decades attesting to the usefulness and value add the team provides to treasuries across the region.
Regulation
DFXA is licensed by the Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) holding an
Australian Financial Services Licence, (AFSL 509319) enabling it to deal in foreign exchange
contracts with wholesale market participants.
Business operation
The company DFXA, currently operates in the Australian market providing broking services
to local and offshore banking institutions from its base in Sydney. These offshore institutions
are mainly in UK, EU, North America, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The main office of DFXA is centred in Sydney and all operations will continue to remain at
this location where we have very experienced staff running the operation (Condensed CV’s
